Why Drink Almond Milk?

To make almond milk you will need 220 grams of raw almonds, half of teaspoon of vanilla extract and 4 cups of water. To begin the process you need to let the almonds soak overnight.

Some people recommend at least 8 hours of soaking but even if you go up to 12 hours, the almonds will be fine as they need to soften.

In the morning you can drain the water and add the 4 cups of fresh water together with the almonds and blend.

At this point, you can add the vanilla extract and mix everything together. If the taste is too strong for you, just use sweetening options which include honey and syrups.

You can liquid from the pulp using a clean cloth. Some people don`t throw the pulp away. They let it dry out and add it to oats for extra fiber.

You can store the almond milk in a closed bottle in the fridge for up to a week. For the best taste, you need to shake the bottle before serving.
